1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, booking a stay, or using our services, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
- You agree to be legally bound by them.
- You also agree that bookings made on your behalf by relatives, friends, or agents will be treated as having your full consent. Claims like “it wasn’t booked through my email/name” are not valid.
- YoGetaway.com will not entertain disputes regarding the identity of the person who made the booking, provided it was done through a valid account on our platform.
2. Booking Terms
- Each listing on our site is owned and managed by an independent vendor.
- Booking details (including availability, amenities, policies) are provided by the vendor and may vary from one listing to another.
- No Show: Failing to check in on the scheduled date = No Refund.
- Late Check-Out / Early Check-In: Subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Over-occupancy (e.g., booking for 4 and showing up with 5) is strictly not allowed and may lead to denial of check-in without refund.
3. Refund Policy
- Refund requests must be initiated within 24 hours after checkout. Requests submitted after this period will not be eligible for review.
- Each refund request must be supported by valid evidence (e.g., photos, messages, or other documentation) or acknowledged by the host.
- If the host does not respond within a reasonable timeframe, YoGetaway.com will evaluate the provided evidence and make a final decision at its sole discretion.
- Approved refunds are processed within 10 working days from the date of approval.
- Each listing may have its own specific refund or cancellation policy; please review the details carefully before booking.
- Customers are responsible for reviewing individual listing policies before booking.
- For paid bookings, cancellation requests must be directed to the host. Guests cannot cancel confirmed bookings via dashboard.
- Any payment gateway fees are non-refundable.
- YoGetaway.com is not responsible for processing refunds for payments made directly to vendors or for cash-on-arrival bookings.
4. Platform’s Role
- YoGetaway.com acts as an intermediary between guests and vendors.
- We do not own or operate any of the listed properties.
- In case of a dispute between guest and vendor, we may choose to mediate, but we are not obligated to intervene.
- We are not liable for:
- Any loss, theft, injury, or death that occurs during a guest’s stay.
- Misbehavior, safety issues, or service lapses on the vendor’s end.
5. Outside Visitors & Conduct
- Most stays do not allow outside visitors.
- Guests are responsible for the behavior of anyone they bring to the property.
- You are expected to:
- Respect property rules.
- Not damage or remove any item. Taking anything from the property without permission is considered theft.
- Leave the stay as you found it.
6. Identity Verification
- All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in.
- Indian Nationals: Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID.
- Foreign Nationals:
- Valid Passport & Visa.
- OCI/PIO Cards, if applicable.
- Comply with Form C registration as required by law.
Legal Reference:
- As per the Registration of Foreigners Act, 1939, and local hospitality laws, guest information must be submitted to authorities.
- If you provide false or forged documents, legal action may be taken against you.
7. Force Majeure / COVID-19
- In cases of pandemic, natural disaster, travel restrictions, or other force majeure events, vendors may cancel or modify bookings without liability.
- We cannot guarantee refunds in such cases unless stated in the vendor’s individual listing policy.
8. Privacy Policy
- We collect personal data to complete your booking and improve your experience.
- Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.
- We do not sell or misuse your data. Vendors may receive only essential guest data relevant to your booking.
9. Changes to Terms
- YoGetaway.com reserves the right to change these terms at any time.
- Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
10. Final Acceptance
